What is gasification?

Gasification is the process of heating a biomass fuel in an oxygen deprived environment to vaporize the volatile components of the fuel. Capturing, cleaning and condensing this vapor makes a substitute fuel with BTU content similar to natural gas and propane.

What fuels the gasifier?

Wood waste and many othe types of biomass qualify as renewable fuels for the USA Renewable Standard. These fuels can be consumed in the gasification process system to produce heat and electricity for industrial and commerical aplications. This can include decentralized modular power plants in 1 mw units to allow the power purchaser to become green and consume their own byproducts to achieve this.
